People are now able to speak live with other people around the world: calling Microsoft for a problem will connect you to a representative in India to help solve the problem. Businesses are able to expand into new areas much more fluidly, given the fact that new areas of operations are able to stay in near constant contact with central headquarters back in the mother country.
